We have not yet tried all the numerous features this oven provides, partially because it is taking us time to read and apply all the instructions and partially because it is summer so we BBQ a great deal. We find it preheats fairly quickly which is convenient. Baking has also proved effective and true to temperature readings. Broiling is also easy to use and prepares steaks beautifully. We are looking forward to trying the other cooking modes. The easy-touch settings are handy and easy to implement.

Interior finish fails

The performance of the oven is great, but we are unhappy with the rapid deuteriation of the interior finish of the upper oven. The finish leaves the oven in an appearance that the oven is not clean. Customer service representatives state the warranty does not cover aesthetic conditions. Very disappointing for an oven at this price point that is only a few weeks old.

Unusable and Unrepairable

Terrible product. Used a handful of times before receiving a ™€œcommunication error with lower oven™€ message. After multiple attempts to replace the control panels and limited help from GE, we have an expensive eyesore in our kitchen. We are only able to use the microwave on a $4K appliance. If you do purchase I recommend getting the extended warranty as our repair technician told us these appliances come with a multitude of issues and you do not want to be stuck with an appliance that is unusable and unrepairable. Also, forget trying to replace the unit with another GE product! The dimensions are not the same on other models, likely by design. Do not purchase unless you want to experience this. I own stock in GE and have multiple family members that have worked as engineers for the company over the years and this is a HUGE disappointment to say the least. I would expect this company to stand behind their products but instead they offer minimal help and parts are difficult to find or out of production!

The oven works well after 2 weeks of use. However, why in the world would your engineers make us constantly confirm choices like ™€œSTOP™€ when trying to shut off the microwave or timers. Highly unnecessary and a waste of time. I should be able to access the settings in one-click, not 3. The timers shouldn™€™t minimize when cooking. The software needs work to simplify cooking/using the oven and microwave.

All but the bottom oven works

I was very excited to get the option of using two different ovens, but I've been only disappointed at the bottom oven's performance. When the bottom oven is at the desired temperature, once the door has been opened to insert the raw food, the temperature begins to drop and does not reheat till the dashboard is reset to the desired temp. There have been several late meals and ruined baked goods since purchasing this oven. When contacting support initially they were very helpful and scheduled a repair within a few days. The repair guy replaced the sensors over a month ago, but the problem is the same. I have tested the outcome multiple times since the repair and have documented each. Today I tried to contact support again only to reach a dead end from multiple attempts. 2/21/26 2:25pm Filled form on https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-service, but the site got stuck after entering the address and the only option it gave me was to transfer to the Chatbot. Chatbot stalled out and I ultimately downloaded a transcript after 17 minutes. 2/21/26 2:35pm Called 1800-432-2737 twice, but after answering the system questions, the system hung up as attempting to transfer to an agent. Answered Questions. Schedule service Calling about GE Profile Type: Gas Range. Purchased within the last 12 months. 2:44pm Called the Bodewell number but the same thing happened and hung up on me after I answered the questions and it attempted to transfer me to an agent. 1 833-426-3393 Answered Questions. Schedule service Calling about GE Profile Type: Gas Range. Purchased within the last 12 months.

I love this microwave oven combo but... It is LOUD. The oven is fairly silent when in use but the microave has a fan that is loud and goes on at least 5 minutes after use. When I inquired it was told this is normal to cool off the MW. Even just melting butter the fan stays on loud. If you have a TV in the room you will have to turn up the volume as the MW is unusally loud.

The manual is very poor

79 page manual and very poor. It does not explain very well when using the upper oven as Precision cooking whether you keep in the glass tray. Chatted with GE and the person said, "Yes it stays in, but on page 6 in the manual, says if you use the glass tray when Precision cooking, could crack the tray. Things like this are confusing. They need to make a video for just the PT9900 going through everything in the manual.

Looks decent. As others have said, you™€™re required to push way too many buttons to perform basic functions. Also, the microwave light works intermittently. The entire unit needs to be slid out to change the bulb, and GE refuses to send a ™€œhow to™€ on microwave bulb replacement for this model. The GE washing machine I™€™ve had for a week has completely broke, but that™€™s for a separate review.

Well we had it installed yesterday it keeps telling us to close the door to continue cooking have to slam the door for it to cook in the upper oven. Called Kelly™€™s in Salem,Oregon and they said they couldn™€™t get GE to accept the model number or serial number so now we™€™re being serviced by appliance doctor on December 30th 2025. Hopefully it all works out. Appliance looks cool can™€™t wait to use it after Christmas™€¦

There are no presets for the advantium cook option which our previous Monogram had tons. There is no bluetooth or wifi connection options. The speedcook options do not get the food done and the air fryer option in the lower oven doesn't get the food crispy. In all we are disappointed with our purchase. Have not tried the sous vide option yet, probably won't use that very often.

Really nice ovens - full featured, easy to use

We replaced a 30-year-old double oven with this combo oven. I was apprehensive about the digital menu and all the options, but I had nothing to worry about. I have baked with and without convection, used the temp probe, air-fry mode, and used the combo cook and broil in the upper (microwave/convection) oven as well. The two slide out racks are sturdy and well designed. I haven't used the steamer, but I will. Both the upper and lower ovens are good sized. I was concerned about capacity with just 1 "big" oven", but the manual suggests layering and staggering pans (like cookies, cakes, and casseroles) on multiple oven racks with convection is the best way to go. This should eliminate the need, or my habit, of using 2 ovens when baking. The larger combo oven will absolutely handle other side dishes when needed. So far, I love it - and it looks good in my kitchen. So far, just three things that are awkward or I haven't figured out yet. (1) When setting the timer, the countdown displays in small print, beneath the cooking time which counts up (nice feature). It is hard to know from a distance how much time is left and the timer volume can't be adjusted up. (2) the lower oven door has to be closed to turn the oven off - I'll get used to it, I'm sure. Lastly, (3) there is no rack for the upper oven, just the round, raised tray with legs. This seems odd. I'll have to play with this too. None of these are show-stoppers just things to get used to. It came with convection pieces and a browning tray for the upper oven and air-fry tray, broiler pan, and temp probe for the lower oven.

This is more for younger generation than older ppl

Not sure I am being fair because I only have had this for two months. However, the sensor on the microwave cooks the length of 2 instead of one. It takes some getting use to the controls. On my old microwave I just had to hit 1 or 2 buttons to start. On this microwave (to microwave something for 1.5 minutes, you have to first hit upper oven, microwave, hit 1.5 seconds, ok and start. That's like 5 buttons compared to my other microwave. I'm older so this is a new process that I am learning. However, I'm sure younger generation would have no problem with it. The racks were hard for us to install. Don't find the manual is very helpful. I couldn't find a video anywhere of the features and am learning by trial and error. Not that it is a GE problem, but the installer had no idea at what level to place this oven. It was first placed to high and they had to modify my new cabinets. When it was lowered, I could reach into the microwave but have to stand on something to clean the microwave. If you buy, be sure it's placed at the right height. The salesperson, nor the cabinet guy were helpful to the installer on this height.

Great Design and Features !

Love the new oven unit. GE profile design is modern and the unit does everything - like buying an iPhone and ditching GPS, iPod, and your cell phone, it has everything you need (air fryer, convection oven, microwave and conventional oven) and the steam unit in the oven is a huge plus. There is nothing I cannot cook in this and we should be good for the next decade. Thank you GE !

Very good but timer is small and soft

Love the new unit. It was not a drop in replacement for my previous similar GE Profile unit and so the installation was challenging. The clock display is large but the timer displays are uncomfortably small and the busser is soft even though the volume is completely up. If you are not near by you won't hear it. Also there's no beep to let you know when there's one minute left as there has been on my other GE Profile ovens. This hes more bells and whistles than I will ever use.

This is a great combo oven! sleek and looks great in the kitchen. I really don't have any complaints except there is delay with the touch screen (verses knobs) and the fingerprints on the touch controls is annoying but not a function of the oven, more my kids! I like the quick cook starts and the upper convection oven roast veggies great. Love the blue look inside. We've only used it for 2-3 weeks and so far so good!

so far so good! love the look of it! We had originally bought an LG of same capacity and very similiar...and it was a piece of Crap! The customer service at LG was horrible. I am hopeful that "if" I should need to contact this manufacturer, things will be much easier. So far we are liking it much better than the LG. The screen is much more user friendly and the functionality to automatically switch the microwave based on cooking recipe is a plus! The LG it was too easy to mistakingly use the microwave function when you wanted oven. Dangerous. This oven tells you what type of plate/ pan/ dish to use and switches the cooking function automatically. Large size microwave is a plus also. Very happy with purchase.

I love my new GE Combination Double Wall Oven! The installation process was fairly easy. We love that it has so many features and functions - microwave, convection, steam and so much more. Oven design is sleek and clean and a definite upgrade to my kitchen. I also love that the bottom oven is Kentucky Blue inside (I know, I know™€¦.had to say it. lol). The addition of this appliance to our kitchen has freed up so much counter space. We don™€™t need the separate air fryer, microwave, or roaster anymore. So happy with this appliance!!!!

I don™€™t love this new oven. The sales guy made it sound way better than what it is. It comes with poor instructions on how to use options. First off it takes a very long time to preheat. 20 minutes in most cases. The fan is always on and it™€™s very loud. Even after you are done using the upper, lower or just microwaving something the fan keep making noise for quite a while. The precision cook feature for the upper part is basically microwaving your food just for a lot longer than normal. Cooking something that should get crispy-pizza, nuggets,etc results in soggy overcooked food that is almost inedible. The air fry option in lower oven is also slow to start cooking even when preheating isn™€™t necessary. It™€™s faster and better results to use smaller, cheap counter airfryer. Came with three racks and there™€™s no good way to put all of them in the oven so that you can also fit even a short 9x13 on one of them. The display isn™€™t easy to use. You have to type everything in instead of just pushing a quick button. Scroll from 350 to 400 or push one button to get numbers, type in numbers, hit ok, hit start. It™€™s overly complicated when there could just be single digital options to push. Baked potato option didn™€™t even get one potato close to being done in the set option time. Overall a very disappointing purchase. Get the older model with basic functionality as this one doesn™€™t do what you think it will. I™€™m a good cook and this was a purchase I was looking forward to. Not at all happy with it.

This oven works okay, I get a lot of error codes like the fan doesn™€™t want to work, each code says service may be needed. The install was pretty easy, they came to install it and it only took 90 minutes from start to finish.

Incredible double wall oven!

I™€™m amazed by this GE double wall oven and how much it can do! This oven features a microwave, air fryer, steam and so much more. So far I™€™ve tried a lot of the options and I still haven™€™t even gotten through the majority. The touch screen display has a quick response and extremely user friendly. The screen is bright and clear and displays pictures as an example of what each mode is for. The inside of the top oven is about the standard size of a microwave and cooks quickly. I love that I can also use this as an oven as well as other cooking functions. When I use the upper oven my food is always cooked quicker, keep that in mind when setting a timer or the temperature. The bottom oven features the steam option,which is amazingly, and cooks your items perfectly. The oven also features a probe option (probe included) that you can plug in the bottom and see what temperature your item is at while it™€™s cooking! We just recently had our family holiday party and was able to use both ovens at the same time and everyone was impressed with how well the food came out. This double oven is truly a dream oven!

This is going to be a raw and honest review. With the new oven came kitchen renovations, so my picture isn™€™t beautiful, but they™€™re real. We are leaving the plastic on as protections during renovations. I could not be more happy with this oven. It is literally everything you need in one unit. My cookies cooked to absolute perfection. The microwave is SO fast. I am over the moon! The only downfall is installation was not included as per the instructions BUT that just meant I get a whole new kitchen renovation, so yay!

So many options and sleek modern design!

Let me start by saying this product really does need a professional to install. There™€™s a lot of work to install it and it™€™s extremely heavy. I will say though, it has so many awesome features! I no longer need a microwave or multiple other kitchen appliances. There™€™s an option to air-fry, convection, warm, reheat, it does them all super fast and efficient. I love that it doesn™€™t give off a ton of warmth and steam up the whole kitchen, and is energy efficient. It has a very nice modern design and 28 pre-programmed options. So obsessed!!!

Beautiful Double Oven With Endless Cooking Possibi

The GE Profile Double Oven has surpassed my expectations. With its Upper and Lower Ovens, it truly can do it all. The Upper Oven has the following options: Microwave, Defrost, Popcorn, Convection Bake, Broil, Proof, Soften, Melt and Warm. With the Defrost, Soften, Melt and Warm options, you™€™re able to choose from a list of foods most often associated with that function. For example, if you want to melt butter you™€™re able to choose the melt option, select butter, then choose the quantity, like half of a stick, a whole stick, etc. I have found the times for these functions to be accurate and it has softened and melted butter perfectly. The Lower Oven has the following options: Bake, Convection Bake, Convection Roast, Air Fry, Broil, Warm, Proof. The Air Frying option works very well, we used it to air fry wings and they came out perfect and crispy! I™€™ve also used the bake option to make homemade breads and rolls and every single time they come out perfect. The Lower Oven is a beautiful blue color inside and has 3 adjustable racks that slide in and out on tracks to make taking food out of the oven effortless. In the picture posted with this review you can see how the tracks work, as I have the rack pulled out to take out the rolls. The racks themselves are also very easy to remove and adjust, as I™€™ve taken them out and reinserted multiple times when I™€™m cooking different things. The whole oven is operated by a beautiful touch screen with the option for a digital clock, a digital clock with rotating food images, or an analog clock. You can also choose to have the clock on display or the screen blank. The touchscreen itself works perfectly, with no delay. The go back option is always right on the screen, making it easy to redo and go back at any time. The oven was installed by a professional team, and even though it was their first time with this particular oven, they had it in and working in no time. We made sure to have our opening in the cabinet the correct size, and it slid right in like a glove. Not only is this oven beautiful to look at, it also works flawlessly and I am loving my new addition to my kitchen! I look forward to adding more GE profile appliance to my kitchen soon.

A dream oven

I™€™m so happy to have received this oven. First of all it™€™s beautiful, sleek and modern. It looks fantastic in my kitchen. I feel like a real chef in the kitchen with this oven. The oven itself works great, heats up really fast and using the app with it is a breeze. It has a ton of space so we can make a few dishes at one time. Thanksgiving this year will be so easy. I™€™m so excited. This is the oven I™€™ve always wanted. There are so many options for cooking/baking. So far everything we have cooked has turned out perfectly and it cooks evenly. GE has the best appliances!!
