So far it seems to work fine, but preheating is slow. Also no user guide came with the oven and none of the QR codes provided on the installation instructions, nor on the oven work. So it would be nice to have a user guide. Not sure how to use all the functions.

Serious Issues with the Oven Racks!!!

The oven racks are difficult to move in and out of the oven. There is a lot of resistance in moving the racks, feels like the racks are too big for the oven opening. We've noticed rubbing/scratching (white streaking) on the oven interior where the racks are located. We went back to Lowes to examine their floor model. No issues with the racks - they are easy to move in and out of the oven. We NEED replacement racks!!!

We™€™ve had our new GE oven a few months now and it™€™s working great. The oven gets to the set temperature quickly and maintains its set temperature very accurately. We really like the air fryer for quick meals and reheating leftovers. The touch panel is very easy to operate and easy to keep clean as well.

Rack Design Flaw

The overall product functions normally. I gave it a 3 rating because there is a design flaw with the oven racks. The oven is installed level horizontally and vertically. However, all of the racks are not level when a level is placed on them. All the racks are very bouncy and loose when placed in any of the rack positions and lean down in the front and up in the back in both ovens. This makes all my cakes bake about a half inch higher in the front than in the back. This is unacceptable to me as a Home Economist and regular cake baker. GE tech checked it out and agrees there is a rack design flaw. My husband and I checked out numerous floor display models and found d the same issue, so it™€™s not just my ovens. I request and expect an acceptable solution to this issue.

I should have researched this product more. I don't use Air Fry option because I do not want to download an app to use my oven. I do not like that both oven lights must be on or off at the same time. The oven is spacious, but only came with 2 racks for each oven. Convection temp seems a little off. The control panel is not the most intuitive. I do like that the proofing feature warns if oven is too hot

I wanted to love these ovens, I even had two brand new sets installed. But both were horribly unlevel because the racks were so flimsy and the actual guides on the sides were not level. The way the oven baked was incredible. I really loved the features, heat, speed, all of it. But I could bake any liquid batters without burning half because they were so off.

My Dream Oven - except...

Finally an oven with the capacity to bring a Thanksgiving Dinner in on time. 2 fully functioning ovens is a dream! Also I upgraded from a 24 inch gas oven to this 30 inch double electric. I can already tell that it maintains heat well and that I will have to get used to its power to avoid burning food. I hope to also purchase the meat probe which works with this oven. I already have the air fry basket and I cannot wait to use that. I need to find a liner that works with the oven though because the burners are hidden in the bottom so I cannot rest the normal teflon liner there as it is not recommended. GE any suggestions? My family is too messy for a liner on the rack to work. My one complaint and reason for 4 stars is the grates are scratching the sides of my oven as I move them in and out the oven. I tried the vegetable oil solution that I saw but that is not working. @GE suggestions for a liner to put in the bottom of the oven and also how to prevent further scratching of the interior would be appreciate. Other than that it's a fantastic oven design and functions well.

The oven racks do not fit the oven. They are difficult to remove and have scrapped the inside of the oven. Because it is such a hassle to return and find one that is the same size I haven™€™t bothered but now my oven has scratches and I have to buy new oven racks that actually fit. While the oven bakes well when I use it, it comes on all by itself. Luckily the light comes on at the same time so I know this was happening. Otherwise there could™€™ve been more of an issue. And after three months of attempting to get a new double oven from GE I™€™m still in this process and hoping to get it by Christmas! There are lots of these products that the doors are misaligned and every time a new one shows up the door is misaligned. They cannot guarantee that there™€™s good functionality so I have to return it. This has been a very frustrating process.

The oven capacities are good. Clock is very hard to read as the numbers are too close to each other. The design is good. When using oven lights, both ovens light up™€¦would prefer that only the oven being used would light up. Performance is good. Overall it is a good double oven.
