Only thing I would change would to change the arrangement of the burners. You have two lage burners in front = large pans. This can be difficult when you are also using a small burner at the same time. Too much heat in your face.

We've had several issues. Had to make a call to the help center to ask how to remove the bottom drawer so we could change the valves from natural to propane gas. None of the online videos demonstrated this model. Never got a clear answer from GE. We finally had a repairman come out to remove the drawer and change the valve for $175.00. Problem #2 and next phone call: I just used the steam cleaning function. It doesn't steam clean. I've attempted it 3 times. Each time the 1 C. of now luke warm water was still on the bottom of the oven but no steam. Will make another call at the start of the week. Problem #3--hopefully the guarantee is honored. The oven didn't fit in the space even though we our previous oven was 30 inches. (this model is slightly taller and caught on the lip of the counter.). Another $150 to have 1/8 shaved off my countertop. GE offers a refund so I've completed the multiple pages of paperwork (pictures old and new oven, serial and model numbers old and new, invoices, etc.) and sent them in to request the refund. Problem #4. Boiled water over when making pasta. Not a major boil over but despite using multiple products including Bar Keeper's Friends, I'm not able to get the blackened residue off the burner cap.

good replacement choice

Needed to replace a dual fuel stove but could not find one at a reasonable price. have always cooked on gas so did not want electric. This stove fit the bill as it was reasonably priced and had most features we wanted. (5 burner, griddle, LP convertible). Also got it on sale for $500 off at Lowes. Had it for 1 month now and it cooks well. Burners can be adjusted to do a true simmer. Pleased with purchase. Only feature we would have liked is convection.

Conversion to Propane is Overly Difficult

It's a nice stove. Looks nice and I think I'll enjoy it once I get it working. But the conversion to Propane should not be so difficult. I had to pay someone to do the LP conversion, it took 2 hours and they missed a step, and now I'm trying to get them to come back. If you need it to work for Propane, just expect and accept from the beginning that you need to hire someone who knows how to do it. It takes a good amount of time to change out all the orifices (little fixtures, difficult to access) and make a change to the regulator inside the oven (don't miss this step!). I was not expecting all that - it's not as easy as it should be, and GE will not really help or support you other than to tell you to hire & work with a professional installer. If you know all that going into it, maybe it will be less frustrating for you. There is a short 2-page manual provided if you want to review the steps for converting to LP (propane).

Great stove... trouble with oven temp

We love the stove and we are big fans of the high quality metal knobs. Our only troubles are 1) the griddle temp doesn't get as hot as I would like from end to end and 2) there is some inconsistency in oven temps when we bake cookies or rolls. I am not sure if it is hot spots in the oven itself or just something I am doing wrong.

The delivery team was organized, and prompt and had the stove in place and had it working within minutes of delivery. The gas stove is exactly what we wanted after years of using an electric stove. The gas stove is fast to heat and easy to cook on. The controls are laid out. This was an A++ experience.

Just installed my new G E Gas Range, after converting it from LNG to Propane fuel with the included installation kit. Pretty easy if you're a reasonably handy person, just don't strip the threads on the replacement orifices! The range works great, and cooks fine, so we are looking forward to many years of reliable service from this product.

The stove is very beautiful. All the burners work perfectly. The middle section warms up very quickly. The oven works great and preheats within 5 minutes. The only thing I have to get used to is the knobs turning to the left instead of the right.

This range is awesome. The oven heats up in a few minutes and has even heating. The burners are easy to keep clean and they heat up items you are cooking very fast. The griddle in the middle is the best. I can cook all sorts of items on it, may favorite are quesadillas and grilled cheese. I store all my cookware lids in the bottom drawer. This is a must have any kitchen.
