The unit does not have a cheese/meat drawer. There are very few shelves. I purchased a 3 drawer unit and a hanging basket to create more food storage options. The space on the refrigerator door is very narrow at the bottom, as the vegetable drawer sticks out so far.

I needed a black, counter-depth, side by side to replace one that failed. I had a warranty so this is the replacement. It's not what I wanted, but it's all that I could get and I had to pay an additional $500. It's a very nice refrigerator; however, the interior is poorly appointed. It lacks a deli drawer for cold cuts/cheeses, and the freezer just doesn't have enough shelves. There should definitely be one on top of the basket on the bottom and a few more in between. However, you can't add more shelves to the freezer. I'm going to have to see if I can purchase additional shelves for the fridge, but I shouldn't have to expend more money on an already costly refrigerator. I wouldn't recommend it if ample interior shelves are important to you; otherwise, it would be okay.

We had to purchase site unseen due to lack of merchandise on the floor. Not happy with the ice maker. It spits out ice uncontrollably. The shelves on the door are difficult to secure and the huge overhead light just takes up needed space.

The refrigerator looks nice but has some flaws. #1. The lighting is poor. There is only one light at the top of the refrigerator. Items at the mid and bottom are not well lit. #2. The water out of the refrigerator is not cold and when added to ice makes the ice melt. #3. The shelves are difficult to move. #4. It only has two pull out drawers but really has room for three. #5. The refrigerator door could have one more shelf for storing shorter items. #6. The water filter operation at the top of the refrigerator takes up too much space which reduces the amount of space for storing items on the top shelf. #7. When opening the doors, the refrigerator slides forward unless you hold it in place with your other hand.

I truly wish I could say more, but that is all we needed. We didn't need tech, we just needed a refrigerator. This replaces a similar model from 14 years ago that actually had more features like the deli drawer (which I will miss). Would be nice if GE sent the Owner's manual along with the refrigerator. Due to COVID we waited close to six months for this refrigerator and received numerous "delayed delivery" calls from Sears and were stunned to receive one that actually said delivery tomorrow; they actually came early. Why does counter depth have to run more expensive than some larger refrigerators? Is this supposed to be a real beauty?

Quiet but DARK!

We like the fit in our specific space but the interior has too much air space where a shelf or another drawer should have been added. The biggest negative is only light is at the top leaving it very dark below. I don't understand for the size, style and price i paid that GE couldn't add lights like the other GE Profile which looked like a Christmas tree when opened, lights throughout.

After ordering refrigerator on July 21, 2020, it finally arrived on November 1, 2020. I wish I would have studied more models as the lighting in the fridge and freezer is very lacking. The middle and the bottom area is very dark and only the very top is lite up. It's too early to tell on overall operation as it was just installed today.
